Cellar Spiders

Cellar spiders, often mistaken for "daddy longlegs," have small bodies and extremely long, thin legs. They prefer dark, damp areas like basements, cellars, crawl spaces, and garages, where they build loose, irregular webs.

Unlike many other spiders, cellar spiders continuously add to their webs rather than cleaning them or rebuilding, which quickly creates large, unsightly cobwebs in corners and along ceilings.
